Who Are We?
Terry Neale, Managing Director and Chief Pilot
Terry has a wealth of experience in aviation.
His 45 years of commercial flying experience has a broad base and the persistent theme throughout is his passion for training.
He spent almost 13 years flying for Cathay Pacific Airways on the B747, L1011 and B747-400 and previously flew business jets and air taxis. After graduating from Hamble College of Air Training, he became an instructor in 1976. He qualified as an examiner (IRE/TRE) in 1980 and has a depth of training experience. He set up a new business jet charter company in 1985 and was its Chief Pilot.
His position as a UK CAA Flight Crew Standards Inspector means he has refined a number of skills:
• Assessment of training standards in the airline industry
• Evaluation of simulators against the EASA requirements
• Operational evaluation of new aircraft types and new Advanced Vision Systems
• Running, and presenting, at seminars for up to 150 attendees
• Excellent communication skills
Terry's expertise lies in these key areas:
• Identifying, and coaching, good training practice
• Training management experience
• Technical knowledge of EASA requirements for aircrew and simulators
• Advanced Vision System knowledge including Infra-Red (Enhanced) and Synthetic vision.
He currently holds a current type rating and TRI/TRE on the B747-400/-8 and recent ratings on the G650, G550/G450 and Global Express 7500.
